BLOGS
The Bloggess She is a funny damned writer. In her own words, "I’ve been blogging about my strange little life for almost a decade. It’s mainly dark humor mixed with brutally honest periods of mental illness."

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich
The 4 Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat Loss, Incredible Sex and Becoming Superhuman
The 4-Hour Chef: The Simple Path to Cooking Like a Pro, Learning Anything, and Living the Good Life
Oh my gosh - where do I begin? My ongoing crush/fight with my frenemy Tim Ferris. His books make me think. They also make fine door stops and/or weapons. They are written from Tim's perspective as a single-ish guy in his 40s. He is writing for single-ish guys in their 30s - 40s. You can see where the fight part comes in. Still, he has some great insights.

Sex at Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships
This book was fascinating. Why is monogamy so darned difficult? Why is the divorce rate so high? Why is our society so violent when our nearest DNA relatives, the bonobos, are peaceful? This book answers a lot of questions ... theoretically. It provides little advice on what to do about it given the culture, rules, polices, and mores we have been born into. Still, knowledge is power, right?
PODCASTS
Tim interviews really fascinating people. It's heavily weighted to men in their forties who are technology entrepreneurs, but I've learned a lot ... sometime, by arguing (in my head) with them.
NOTE: The podcasts are longish and I don't have time for that. I listen to them at 1.5 speed and it works out just fine.
SUNDRY
Yes, more Tim. This time, it's a show on Vimeo that has experts teaching Tim to also be an expert on things like Chess, Poker, and being an entrepreneur (honestly, I think he had that last one down to a science already.) I haven't actually seen all of these, but they're on my list.
